For nearly ten years the ArcoDiva Agency has been a totally reliable, tactful and much sought after partner on the Czech market, associated with the most important projects and with artists of the 1990s and of today.
The Agency's work is based on the modern idea of a complex approach to production, inspired by current marketing theory and practice, steering new projects right from the initial idea through to the promotion campaign, the PR strategy with creative elements, consultation activities, the artists' image etc. The Agency makes recordings and sees to its top artists' cooperation with the media.
Its selected group of young generation artists and musical ensembles represents the best on offer in Czech music today. The Agency is actively looking for and supporting young talented artists for engagement in its projects. It is now also building up an extensive singers' centre. Although its own productions tend to be an exception rather than the rule, they are always events of special importance. Those with some of the biggest impact have included a recital by the baritone Thomas Hampson at Žofín in September 2000 as part of the 'Prague - European City of Culture 2000' project, a gala concert at the world congress of men's and boys' choirs 'For Peace and a Better World' under the patronage of the Czech Republic's First Lady, Mrs Livia Klausová, at the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum in July 2004, and annual Christmas concerts by the tenor Štefan Margita at the Prague National Theatre.
